Below are the three H5P content types created as part of H5P Interactive learning challenge where I have to create and Publish three H5P objects in WordPress.
These learning activities support my learners in self assessing their knowledge on basic Qwerty keyboarding skills. Show solution and Retry options of these activities provide an opportunity for learners to acquire required skills by re doing them.
I can do this well as my post have all the three H5P objects with good formatting. Activities are designed for intended learning as per my storyboard. Clear instuctions are given to learners on how to complete the activity with feedback options wherever possible and appropriate.
- This is an example of Quiz Content type of H5P content types. Using this we can create a sequence of various question types.
As this is a container where we can combine various types of questions, I thought this would be perfect for providing Multichoice, Drag and drop and Fill in the blanks in a Question set format.
2. This is an example of Drag the Words of H5P content types. Using this we can create a text based challenge where learners are to drag words into blanks in sentences.
Though this is text based challenge we can add media and also provide an option to give a hint to each missing piece of text. This is the reason to choose this content type.
3. This is an example of Crossword of H5P content types. Using this we can create a text based challenge where learners are to drag words into blanks in sentences.
Crossword is always fun isn’t it? This activity allow learners to remember specific words used in the content they are presented, here it is Computer Basics. Also the settings of Crossword content type is very interesting. One of them I used here is to display only 5 words at a time. So I can add more words and every time learner opens random word can appear, here I have only 7 words but in future I will be adding more words.
